One Local Cantina in central Ohio will shut its doors

COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) — A Columbus taco chain is closing one of its locations, the company has confirmed to NBC4.


A representative of Local Cantina, a restaurant serving Mexican-inspired cuisine and craft beverages, confirmed by email that it will soon be shutting the doors to its Short North location at 600 N. High St. On Friday, a sign posted on the restaurant’s door gave notice of the closure.

Originally rumored to be closing on June 9, the Short North location’s final day has yet to be determined, according to Local Cantina. The spokesperson did not respond when asked to provide a reason for the closure.

In total, Local Cantina currently has 13 Columbus-area locations, one in Dayton, and another in Florida. The 12 remaining locations in central Ohio include:
