Football player shot with BB gun on his way to practice in Columbus

COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) — A student on his way to football practice at Northland High School in Columbus was shot three times from a BB gun by a person in an unknown car.

According to a Columbus City Schools spokesperson, after being shot at about 2:50 p.m. the student pedaled to the high school and then was taken to Nationwide Children’s Hospital.


The student is expected to make a full recovery.
