COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) — “Harry Potter and the Cursed Child” will premiere in Ohio as part of Broadway in Columbus’ 2025-26 season lineup, which will also feature a musical based on 1983’s “The Outsiders” alongside the return of Broadway favorites “Hadestown” and “Six.”
The upcoming lineup spans 10 productions, a seven-show package and three season options, Broadway in Columbus and CAPA announced Monday evening. Along with several returning classics, this season includes six shows — “Harry Potter,” “Some Like It Hot,” “Back To The Future: The Musical,” “The Outsiders,” “Shucked,” and “Water For Elephants” — performing at the Ohio Theatre for the first time.
“Six Columbus premieres, including the only Ohio stop for the new ‘Harry Potter and
the Cursed Child’ tour … we couldn’t be more excited,” said Chad Whittington, CAPA President and CEO. “The season really does represent the last several years of Broadway at its best, freshest, and most creative, alongside two beloved classics.”
