COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) – One person has been hospitalized after a reported shooting in northeast Columbus early Tuesday morning.

According to Columbus police, a man was shot inside a residence at the Morse Glen Apartments on Primrose Trail, in the Brandywine neighborhood. Police said the victim was shot in the abdomen while inside of his home with the shot coming from outside of the residence.

The man was taken to an area hospital and listed in critical condition. Police have not released any information on a possible suspect.

No other injuries were reported from the shooting, which occurred at around 5 a.m. Police were seen investigating a window on the ground floor, which had a screen knocked out and lying in the grass in front of a parking lot.
