COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) – One person is dead after being stabbed Friday night in south Columbus.

According to Columbus police, the stabbing happened on the 600 block of Stewart Avenue at approximately 11:13 p.m. The victim was taken to Grant Medical Center in critical condition and was pronounced dead at 11:40 p.m.

CPD is investigating this stabbing as a homicide and ask anyone with additional information to contact police at 614-645-4730.
