COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) — A 63-year-old woman has died after a shooting in southeast Columbus on Thursday night.
Authorities responded to the 800 block of Berkeley Road in the Driving Park neighborhood at about 8:49 p.m. on Thursday after report of shots fired, according to the Columbus Division of Police. Marvita McCaskill was found suffering from a gunshot wound and pronounced dead at 9:08 p.m.
Police said the circumstances of the shooting are still unclear, and are asking anyone with information to call 614-645-4953.
