COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) — One man is dead while another is injured after a shooting Monday afternoon in south Columbus.
A police dispatcher said a report of a shooting came in just before 1:30 p.m. after the 200 block of Buffalo Court on the Far South side. Two victims suffering from gunshot wounds were found at the scene. One was pronounced dead at the scene and another was taken to the hospital in serious condition.
Columbus police identified the victim that died on Tuesday morning as 23-year-old Raquawn Ogelsby.
Two suspects, 26-year-old Jachin Perry Jr. and 18-year-old Michael Twitty, were arrested and charged with murder. Perry Jr. also faces an additional charge of felonious assault. Both are scheduled to be arraigned on Wednesday in Franklin County Municipal Court.
