COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) — Police are investigating three shootings in which at least two could be related in south Columbus Tuesday night.

The first shooting occurred at 7:48 p.m. in the 1600 block of Parsons Ave. near the Merrion Village and Vassor Village neighborhoods. There, two people were struck by gunfire as they were walking in the area. Both victims were taken to a local hospital in stable condition.

A second shooting was reported on the 400 block of Hanford Street at approximately 7:50 p.m. The second shooting was reported moments later on the 3300 block of Norwalk Road, just over 3 1/2 miles away. One victim was taken to Grant Medical Center in stable condition.

According to a Columbus police dispatcher, officers believe the second two of the three shootings are related, though it is unknown if the first one is connected.
