COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) — Power crews continued working through the night restoring service to thousands of customers after rain and strong winds knocked out electricity Sunday.

As of 5:30 a.m. Monday, approximately 3,200 AEP customers and 102 South Central Power customers are without service.

AEP is reporting under 250 Franklin County customers (down from 7,296) remain without power. According to AEP’s outage map, a North Linden outage that at one point affected more than 5,500 customers has been resolved. Licking County was the only other central Ohio county reporting around 1,000 outages Sunday but is down to under 125.

A spokesperson for AEP said crews will work into the night until all customers have their service restored.

South Central is reporting Fairfield County, which at one point topped 1,500 outages, is reporting less than 15 outages.
