COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) — Two people are in custody after reportedly stealing two vehicles that hit three cruisers and leading police on a chase through Columbus that ended near South Franklinton.
A police dispatcher said that Whitehall police were alerted just after 1:15 p.m. to a report of two people stealing a car. A fourth cruiser ran into something during the chase, but was not hit by the suspects.
The chase continued to southwest Columbus and ended near Cooper Stadium. One suspect was taken into custody while another was taken to Nationwide Children’s Hospital in stable condition.
