Businesses in Dublin are making a lot of green this weekend thanks to the Memorial Tournament.
“The memorial tournament is hands down the busiest time of year for us,” said Michael Kuch, Assistant General Manager of Tucci’s restaurant in Dublin.
Tucci’s is busting with business this weekend with the majority of its customers in town for the Memorial Golf Tournament.
“We are the go-to restaurant for a lot of the golfers as well. And a lot of the community people come here,” said Kuch.
Just minutes away from the golf course, Tucci’s is the place to be if you want to be seen or run into some of your favorite golfers.
“Just a fun atmosphere and time to catch up with friends and family and follow our favorite golfers,” says Columbus native, Brittany Basilone.
Basilone and her fiancé Matt Grimes are visiting from Washington, D.C., to watch all the action.
“I am an avid golf fan,” said Grimes. “I love to play, love to watch it. This is my second year coming to the Memorial. Came with her the first time last year. So I guess it is kind of an annual thing.”
Whether you are sipping on some bubbly and watching the game in the big screen or seeing players tee-off on the green, Dublin this Memorial Tournament weekend is the place to be.
“It is just a fun time. A good vibe. A great pulse to the city of Dublin,” said Kuch.
