Friends, family and community members gathered to pray for the safe return of a Madison Township teenager who disappeared last month.

Lindsay Trosper, 17, was last seen in her home on June 18.

Since then, the Madison Township Police Department and surrounding agencies have been searching for her, but to no avail.

“Everybody has eyes on her, or is looking for her,” said Detective Keith Mallory, of the Madison Township Police Department. “I don’t have any information or evidence to show that she is in danger.”

As the search continues, Lindsay’s family is waiting for a positive outcome.

“I’m trying to be very hopeful,” said Andrew Trosper, Lindsay’s father.

Trosper said the massive show of support, at the vigil outside of The Anointed Touch Ministries on Tuesday, proved how much the community wants Lindsay’s safe return.

“At certain points in this past month, I felt very alone,” he said. “I definitely know otherwise now.”

Trosper is part of a large family, waiting for word that Lindsay’s safe.

“I don’t know if Lindsay knew how many people really, really love her and want her to come home,” said Susan Davis, her grandmother.
