FRANKLIN TOWNSHIP, Ohio (WCHM) — A person is dead after being struck by a vehicle in Franklin Township Tuesday night.
According to the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office, at about 8:26 p.m., Tuesday, a pedestrian was crossing U.S. 40, outside a pedestrian crossing, near Broadlawn Avenue, when they were struck by a black 2014 Chrysler 300 traveling eastbound.
The pedestrian was then struck by a black 2016 Nissan Rogue that was traveling westbound on U.S. 40.
The pedestrian was taken to Doctor’s West Hospital and was later pronounced dead.
The pedestrian’s identity is pending notification of family.
