GAHANNA, Ohio (WCMH) – An eatery serving Detroit and New York-style pizzas recently began welcoming customers in Gahanna.

Tony and Enzo’s Pizzeria opened at 1259 N. Hamilton Road this month. The eatery relocated from Zanesville, where it opened in 2022 before holding its last day in October.

Vincent Russo, the president of Russo’s Wood Fired LLC, the hospitality group that owns Tony and Enzo’s, previously told NBC4 that the business had been looking for an opportunity to move to the “thriving” Gahanna area for years.

Tony and Enzo’s pizzas are sold as pies or by the slice. Along with traditional cheese and pepperoni pizzas, the eatery offers options with a variety of toppings such as barbeque chicken, shrimp, charred corn, ricotta and meatballs. The business also serves subs, chicken wings, salads and desserts.

“We have a really good New York-style cheesecake,” Russo said in December. “We have a homemade cookie that we make the batter in store and bake the cookies in the store. … And then we do homemade cannolis, which is like an Italian cream-filled pastry shell.”

The pizzeria offers takeout as well as delivery on apps such as Toast and DoorDash. The Gahanna eatery offers limited seating intended for those waiting to pick up their order, according to Russo.

The pizzeria is open from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Mondays through Thursdays, with hours extending to 10 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays. The eatery is open from noon to 8 p.m. on Sundays.
