What started as a 14-year-old playing outside of a Galion, Ohio gas station has turned into a viral hit.

Curtiss Porter was coming home from a gig with his band Common Band last week when he and his parents stopped at a gas station near their house.

An employee suggested Curtiss play out front of the store, and when he did, he attracted a crowd.

One man began live streaming the performance on Facebook and, a week later, Curtiss is closing in on 500,000 views and has more shares than Galion has residents.
