KETTERING, OH (WDTN) — Someone in the Miami Valley is $1 million richer.
A $1 million ticket in Tuesday night’s Mega Millions drawing was sold at Bee Gee’s Mini Market in Kettering, according to Ohio Lottery officials.
Lottery officials say the winner used auto pick to choose their numbers. Their ticket matched all five numbers but did not match the mega ball.
According to lottery officials, 12 other $1 million tickets were sold across the U.S. One winning ticket was sold for the $1.6 billion jackpot in South Carolina.
