One person is in critical condition after a shooting in west Columbus.

According to Columbus Police, officers were dispatched to the 3800 block of Sullivant Avenue around 2:56am Sunday on the report of a shooting. When officers arrived, they found one person suffering from a gunshot wound on the scene.

Dispatchers with Columbus Police say the victim was transported to Mount Carmel West in critical condition. Police do not have any information about a possible suspect at this time.
