COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) — A man is in critical condition after a hit-and-run in southwest Columbus.
The victim was riding a bicycle just before 10:15 p.m. Friday in front of the entrance of the Hardesty Village Apartments before being hit by a red Jeep that was driving west on Eakin Road, per Columbus police.
The bicyclist was knocked into the entrance drive of the complex as the driver of the Jeep fled the scene after the crash.
The victim was taken to Grant Medical Center in critical condition as CPD’s accident investigation unit continues to investigate the crash.
