REYNOLDSBURG, Ohio (WCMH) — One person was taken to Nationwide Children’s Hospital following a residential fire in Reynoldsburg Tuesday night.
The fire on the 7000 block of Prior Place was called out at approximately 9:26 p.m.
According to Truro Township Fire officials at the scene, the fire started in the kitchen of a two-story home, with the fire quickly spreading through the first floor.
The only person home at the time was a 17-year-old boy, who was rescued from a second-floor window due to the extent of the fire on the first floor.
The teenager was not injured, but was taken to Nationwide Children’s Hospital as a precaution.
There is no information on how the fire started.
