Columbus Police have identified the man killed in a shooting in northeast Columbus late Friday night.

Officers were dispatched to a home on the 4700 block of Larkhall Lane around 11:06pm Friday on the report of a shooting. When officers arrived, they found Todd Ellis Lancaster, 45, inside suffering from a gunshot wound.

Police say Lancaster was transported to Grant Medical Center in critical condition. Lancaster was pronounced dead at the hospital a short time later.

This is the 25^th homicide in Columbus this year.
