COLUMBUS (WCMH) — One man is dead and police have arrested a suspect in a fatal shooting Saturday night in Linden.
Columbus Police said officers responded to a call of a shooting on the 2700 block of Cleveland Avenue at approximately 8:45 p.m.
That is when they discovered the 53-year-old victim lying in a parking lot suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
According to police, the victim and the suspect, 41-year-old Deshaun Cunningham, got into a fight which led to the victim being shot.
The victim, whose identity has not been released, was taken to the hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries.
Cunningham has been charged with murder in the shooting.
