COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) – Ronald McDonald House in Columbus had a special visitor on Monday as champion figure skater Jason Brown paid a visit.
Brown competed this past weekend at the U.S. Championships in Columbus.
Since 2014, he has visited countless Ronald McDonald Houses while competing, part of an effort to give back to the local communities where he skates.
And the gift Brown brought with him on Monday… Tossies.
“I’m so thrilled to be at the Ronald McDonald House today, but yeah, it was all about the audience throws stuffed animals and donations on the ice to show support for the skaters and we’re just paying it forward and that’s why we’re here,” Brown said.
Brown said he’s been to a number of Ronald McDonald Houses and said every house is unique to the community that it’s in, but one thing is common – keeping families together.
