GROVE CITY, Ohio (WCMH) — Sound the alarm! It was firefighter day at Mona’s Eats and Treats. 

Wednesday afternoon was full of fun, learning, and sweet treats at the Grove City ice cream shop. 

The Jackson County Fire Department shows up in style, in their big red fire truck. 

Mona’s owners said now was the perfect time for an event like this. 

“The community is all on spring break this week, so I thought let’s do it during spring break,” Mona’s Eats and Treats owner Ali Groves said. “Let’s give them something to do, get out of the house, burn off some energy for the kids, give them something to do.” 

Mona’s owners said they plan to do more community events like this over the summer.
