WESTERVILLE, Ohio (WCMH) — A ramen restaurant with a location in the Short North Arts District is expanding with a second central Ohio location.

Ampersand Asian Supper Club is opening a second location this fall in Westerville’s Uptown, owner Megan Ada announced last month. The new eatery will occupy the ground floor of a new building still under construction at 21 W. College St., located behind Graeter’s Ice Cream and across College Avenue from the main City Hall parking lot.

Designed to blend in with the historic Westerville neighborhood, the three-story building will feature a canopied patio for Ampersand’s dine-in guests. The building’s two upper floors will be home to apartments.

The new location will mark the Ampersand’s concept second restaurant after the first opened in 2019 at 940 N. High St. in the Short North. Ada, a veteran chef, also purchased Westerville’s Sunny Street Café at 644 N. State St. in 2010 and then opened Asterisk Supper Club at 14 N. State St. in 2016.

Ampersand’s menu features Guam and Japanese-style ramen with house-made broth, donburi rice bowls, small plates, soup and salad, and a selection of Japanese beer and sake. Learn more and view the club’s full menu here.
