COLUMBUS (WCMH) – A 28-year-old woman has died after a single-vehicle crash in Columbus on Sunday.

According to the Columbus Division of Police, the accident happened Sunday on I-670 west at the 4^th Street ramp around 12:24pm. Driver Brieanna Finneran was traveling westbound on the entrance ramp from I-71 S to I-670 W when she struck the guard rail. She was transported to Grant Medical Center for head trauma and pronounced dead about an hour later.

The accident closed the westbound lanes of I-670 for hours on Sunday between 4th Street and I-71.
