COLUMBUS (WCMH) – Meet Max: He is a Brittany Spaniel-Beagle mix on a mission to find rescue dogs, like himself, a loving forever home.
NBC4 Today Weekend anchor Hattie Hawks and her husband adopted Max from a small central Ohio rescue called Pets Without Parents. Every week, Max and Hattie introduce viewers to other rescue dogs in search of forever homes.
Hattie and Max introduced viewers to Paula, an 8-month-old pit bull mix, a couple months ago. While many of the dogs featured on Max’s Mission have been adopted, Paula is still looking for her forever home.
Paula was pulled from the Franklin County Dog Shelter’s “rescue only” list by Sol Connections of Ohio when she was diagnosed with Parvo. She was nursed back to health at the Animal Care Center of Polaris and is ready to meet her forever family.
Paula has a lot of energy and loves to play, so she would be perfect for an active family. She is great with other dogs and kids and loves attention. Paula is spayed, micro-chipped and up-to-date on all of her vaccines.
For more information about how to adopt Paula, call the Animal Care Center of Polaris at 614-888-4050 or visit them on Facebook. To learn more about Max’s Mission, check out Hattie’s Facebook page and follow Max’s adventures on Instagram.
