LOGAN, OH (WCMH) — If Wile E. Coyote were trying to catch a creepy clown, this is how he would do it.
Logan police officer Jason Gadrim shared pictures Tuesday night of the cartoon-inspired jester catcher located at an ‘undisclosed location’ in the city of Logan.
The trap is cardboard box propped above the ground with a tray of carnivan inspired goodies underneath. It includes a corn dog, peanuts, gummy worms and a Sno Ball.
Pictures of the trap were shared with the caption:
We found a Clown Trap in an undisclosed area. When clowns are running around scaring citizens you most think outside the box in order to catch them. Hopefully this actually works. Lol
The concern about creepy clowns has grown in recent weeks after several reports from around the country of people dressed like clowns chasing school children.
