COLUMBUS (WCMH) — Columbus police say a man is dead after being shot in southeast Columbus.
According to officers, 26-year-old Cecil R. Johnson was found in the parking lot of the Hartford On the Lake apartment complex suffering from a gunshot wound at about 2:30 a.m. Saturday.
Medics transported him a hospital where he later died.
Police do not believe the victim lived in the apartment complex, and say it does not appear anyone witnessed the shooting.
Police say they do not have a motive or any suspects.
