MEMPHIS, TN (WCMH) — A man was struck and killed by a runaway trailer while he walked down a sidewalk watching porn on his phone, NBC affiliate WMC-TV reports.

Witnesses told police the victim, identified as convicted rapist Kevin Jordan, was looking at porn on his phone when he was struck by a runaway trailer. He died on the scene.

Jordan had a violent history. He was sentenced to 25 years in prison for multiple rapes in the early 1990s. He was released a few years ago for good behavior.

Despite his past, Jordan’s fiancee says he didn’t deserve to die this way.

“He had his life in order,” Connie Harris, told WCM-TV. “It’s a big loss. I love him. I still love him.”

Police are still investigating the accident, but the driver who lost control of the trailer is not facing charges.What others are clicking on:
