COLUMBUS (WCMH) — Columbus Police are searching for someone who has allegedly shot two men with a BB/Pellet gun, causing one of them to lose function in his eye.
On August 27, shortly before midnight, Nathan R. Lawson III was standing in a parking lot in the 2100 block of Morse Road when he was shot in the eye with a BB/Pellet gun. The pellet was lodged in Mr. Lawson’s pupil, causing him to lose all function in his eye.
A witness that night said it was possibly fired from an early 2000’s Toyota with four people inside.
Earlier that night, another man was shot in the face with a BB/Pellet gun in the 1700 block of Morse Road. He told police it was a 1990’s model four-wheel-drive vehicle. The car pulled up to him and a black male in his twenties asked where a McDonald’s was. He then shot the victim in the face and fled the scene. The victim, who is not being identified at this time, suffered minor injuries.
Detectives are investigating, and ask you to call 614-645-2558 if you have any information.
