HAMILTON COUNTY, OH (WCMH) — A man has now officially put behind bars after breaking into an Ohio jail over the weekend.
According to WCPO, Chad Saylor, 23, called 911 Saturday night and told dispatchers that he was inside the Resolutions jail compound.
Police said the man climbed a pipe and hopped a barbed wire fence to enter the jail.
Once inside he told dispatchers his life was in danger.
“I had nowhere else to go or else I would have died,” Saylor says in the 911 recording of that call. “They’re coming.”
Saylor told dispatchers two men, who had shot at him, were chasing him and he broke into the jail for safety.
When police arrived, Saylor was the only person they found. Saylor was arrested and taken into custody.
