MILLERSPORT, OH (WCMH) – A man was shot several times during a domestic dispute Thursday morning at a Millersport apartment.

Deputies and medics were sent to the 2500 block of Lynn Avenue in Millersport shortly before 3am Thursday on a report of a shooting.

The Fairfield County Sheriff’s Office said 36-year-old Dalon Whiteside was taken to Grant Medical Center with multiple gunshot wounds.

According to the Sheriff’s office, Whiteside was arguing with his son inside of the apartment and kicked him out at some point. Whiteside then opened his door and someone shot him.

Investigators have not yet identified who the shooter was.
