MARION, OHIO (WCMH) — The Marion County Sheriff’s Department is currently investigating a burglary that happened on the 9000 block of Harding Highway West yesterday.
The department found two suspects just north of Marion County in Wyandot County, with the help of the Hardin and Wyandot County Sheriff’s Offices.
The officers arrested 21-year-old Briden Carroll, but the second suspect, 53-year-old Melvin Reinbolt, escaped into a nearby cornfield and wooded area according to the Marion County Sheriff’s website.
Reinbolt is described as a 5’10” white man with blue eyes and brown hair. He was last seen wearing a blue striped shirt and jeans.
Officers are telling people not to approach him, as he may be armed and dangerous. Instead, if you see him or know where he is, you should call the Marion County Sheriff’s Office at 740-382-8244.
The Wyandot County Sheriff’s Department confirmed at 1:04 am that Reinbolt is still on the loose.
