Marysville Police: Nothing suspicious found after bomb threat called in to Rite Aid

MARYSVILLE (WCMH)–The Marysville Division of Police says it received a report of a possible bomb threat at Rite Aid Pharmacy on Wednesday.

Police say employees told them that “a male with what was described as a foreign accent called into the business stating he would blow it up if he did not receive a specified amount of money.”

The call came in around 4:53 p.m. at the Rite Aid on Delaware Avenue.

Police officers and the Marysville K-9 unit searched the store, but nothing was found. The business has reopened to customers.

The incident remains under investigation.
