LICKING CO., OH (WCMH) — The Ohio State Highway Patrol says one woman is dead after a crash in Licking County Wednesday evening.

67-year-old Joellen Back was driving northbound on State Route 13 when she drove off the right side of the roadway and struck two utility poles.

Deputies with the Licking County Sheriff’s Office gave Back CPR at the scene of the accident. She was transported to Licking Memorial Hospital where she was pronounced dead.

Troopers say she may have been experiencing a medical issue which contributed to the crash.

The investigation is on-going.
