CORONA, CA (WCMH/AP) – Police in Corona are looking for some really wired thieves who swiped more than $42,000 worth of Monster Energy drinks.

The Riverside Press-Enterprise says a parked big-rig containing the drinks was stolen earlier this week from a vacant lot in the eastern Los Angeles suburb.

The truck cab and its trailer were found separately after midnight Wednesday in two nearby communities.

“You can’t just hop in this truck and drive it. You have to know how to drive the truck,” Dennis Cole, the truck’s owner, told KCAL-TV.

All of the energy drinks are missing.

“I’m a small company. It took 31 years to build this company,” said Cole. “When something like this happens, everything goes on hold; we don’t get to haul our loads.”
