MADISON TOWNSHIP (WCMH) – A motorcycle accident in Fayette County has claimed the life of one man.
The Fayette County Sheriff’s Office says that the accident occurred on US 62 near Cook-Yankeetown Road in Madison Township around 4:22pm. Deputies say that David A. Miller, 59, of Mount Sterling was driving a motorcycle on US 62 when he lost control of the bike.
The sheriff’s office says that Miller traveled off the right side of the road and into a ditch, where the motorcycle hit a large stone. Fayette County Coroner Dr. Dennis Mesker pronounced Miller dead at the scene.
