COLUMBUS (WCMH) — Police and medics responded to traffic crashes in multiple locations across the Columbus metro area Saturday morning.

Initial reports indicate that some of these crashes may have caused serious injuries.

All lanes of I-270 west are back open after a crash near U.S. 23 on the south side. The ramp from U.S. 23 north to I-270 west remains closed as of 12:30 p.m. Saturday.

Other trouble spots included Interstate 670 east near Grandview Avenue, SR 315 south between I-670 and Broad Street, SR 315 north between North Broadway and Henderson Rd., and I-71 south between I-670 and East 5th Avenue.

Dublin police have reported slick and icy roads saying multiple accidents have been reported.

ODOT says over 60 salt trucks are on the roads plowing and salting the highways. They urge drivers to take it slow.
