COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) – The 16-year-old charged with the murder of four people on E. Hudson Street June 13, was handed more charges Wednesday and court documents alleged he wasn’t the shooter.

According to court documents, Jordyn D. Wade wasn’t the shooter in the deaths of four people at a home in the 1600 block of E. Hudson Street June 13, but he did allegedly hold the victims at gunpoint which proximately caused their deaths by facilitating another person to shoot and kill them.

Wade was also issued new charges of felonious assault, kidnapping, and attempted murder on the surviving victim. He also faces a new charge of weapon under disability because of a prior felony.

Wade’s attorney, Eric Hoffman, waived the 16 year old’s appearance in court Wednesday and said his client has not been made available to investigators who are trying to identify and locate the second suspect.

“Considering that there’s another suspect out there that hasn’t been apprehended, that’s an issue we’ll be discussing but first I need to get some information from the prosecutors office to see what’s going on from their end though,” Hoffman said.Hoffman said Wade, who has an extensive juvenile record, has made a number of poor choices. “He’s received help in the past to try to change his ways and he’s done things that he regrets and that he shouldn’t have done.”

Police have identified the victims as Angela D. Harrison, 35; Tyajah Nelson, 18; Daniel Sharp, 36; and Michael Ballour, 41. Officials have not released any information about a second suspect, described as a black male, believed to be involved in the case.

Prosecutors are asking Wade to be tried as an adult.
