COLUMBUS (WCMH) — New rules will greet Buckeye fans attending Saturday’s season opening game against Bowling Green.

This year, bags will be banned at Ohio Stadium.

Fans will only be permitted to carry small wallets or clutches, no larger than 5x8x1-inches.

Exceptions will be made for parents with small children and persons with medical needs, as the university said it will allow one bag for those individuals.

Fans who meet those requirements are asked to enter the stadium using the band entrance or the press entrance.

Also this season, beer sales will return to The Shoe.

Fans will be limited to two beers, per purchase.

Sales will be cut off at the 3rd quarter’s 10-minute mark.

Kickoff for the Buckeyes is Saturday is at 12:00 p.m.
