Columbus (WCMH) – November 2016 ended on a warm note, with two straight days in the 60s.  We also set/tied 3 records for high temps in November.

  • Temps were above normal 18 times in November
  • Temps were below normal 11 times in November
  • Our warmest temp was 80 in November 1
  • Our coldest temp was 21 in November 22

Overall, November 2016 was warmer than normal by 2.6 degrees, and more than 2″ below normal on rainfall:

As warm as November ended, December has started almost as cold (and cloudy):

I looked at the last 7 days including today, and listed them in the red bars.   Then in the blue bars are the forecast temps for the next 7 days.   Now, yes, we should be cooler each 7 days until mid/late January, but by 1-3 degrees.

Right now, our normal high temp is 45, that will drop over the next 45 days by about 9 degrees, or about 1 degree every 5 days.

What is important to note, is we are going to be 4-13 degrees cooler every day in the next 7 vs the last 7.
