COLUMBUS (WCMH)–Crews responded to an ‘abnormal chemical reaction’ at the Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering and Chemistry Building at The Ohio State University Friday afternoon.
Two people were conducting lab work in the Department of Chemical Engineering when a hot plate inside what’s called a “glove box” created an abnormal reaction. There was not a chemical spill but the building was evacuated out of caution.
