COLUMBUS (WCMH) – Residents in Olde Towne East woke up to politically-charged graffiti Saturday morning.
A garage was spray painted with the word “Trump”. Photos on Twitter show Hillary Clinton lawn signs also defaced with paint.

“This is an act of someone who is desperate, has no respect for other people,” says neighbor Gail Larned. “I have worked on political campaigns since Jimmy Carter. It’s the first time I’ve ever seen yard signs vandalized. I just don’t get it.”
“My initial reaction was, ‘I’m glad that didn’t happen in my neighborhood,’ but I didn’t realize it was in my neighborhood and it makes me sick,” says neighbor Tim Wilkins.
Both Larned and Wilkins say they support Clinton, along with many of their neighbors.
“Trump has propagated negativity and violence and hatred and it sickens me,” says Larned.
The property-owners of the garage were unable to be reached for comment.
