COLUMBUS (WCMH) — Columbus Police say one man is dead after a motorcycle crash on Olentangy River Road Saturday afternoon.
It happened after noon when 25-year-old Joseph A. Schneider was driving his 2002 Suzuki motorcycle southbound on Olentangy River Road near King Avenue.
It’s unclear how, but Schneider struck a vehicle turning westbound from the northbound lanes of Olentangy.
Schneider was transported to OSU in life threatening condition. He was pronounced dead at 12:58pm.
This accident was the 46th fatal crash in Columbus in 2016. T
The crash remains under investigation.
