COLUMBUS (WCMH) – Police say one person is dead after a shooting in South Columbus.
The shooting occurred around 1:30am Saturday morning at the Kozy Inn on South High Street. Columbus Police say two suspects approached the victim, Mark E. Horne, 38, in his hotel room. The three people engaged in an altercation during which Horne was shot.
According to police, bystanders called 911. Columbus medics pronounced Horn dead at 1:59am.
Columbus Police say that the two suspects pictured above are wanted for questioning in connection with this incident. Officers say the suspects’ identities are unknown at this time.
