LICKING CO., (WCMH) — The Granville Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol says one person is dead following a crash in Licking County Sunday evening.

It happened around 6:10pm in the area of US 62 and Fancher Road Northwest.

Troopers say 23-year-old Joshua Keeran, of Johnstown, was headed westbound on US 62 when 79-year-old Robert Muench, also of Johnstown, pulled out from Francher Road into the westbound lane, partially, and came to a stop.

Keeran struck Muench and both vehicles came to a stop in a ditch.

Muench and his 79-year-old passenger Constance Muench were both taken to Grant Medical Center. Constance died from injuries sustained in the crash.

Keeran and his three passengers only suffered minor injuries and were treated at the scene.

US 62 was closed in both directions while troopers investigate.
