COLUMBUS (WCMH)– Columbus Police are investigating after a person was shot early Monday morning in southeast Columbus.
The shooting happened at approximately 3:00 am on the 1900 block of Olde Coventry Road East.
Police say25-year-old Keon Jerome Mitchell was taken to Grant Medical Center where he later died.
Police later determined the shooting happened near the intersection of Woodcrest Road and Myers Road.
