COLUMBUS (WCMH) — Columbus Police are investigating after the report of a shooting in northeast Columbus Sunday night.

Police and EMS were called to the 1200 block of East 23rd Avenue around 10pm.

Police found a victim, Rose M. Comly, suffering from a gunshot wound to her leg. She told officers she was inside her home when someone fired multiple shots into her residence.

Comly was transported in stable condition to a local hospital.
