COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) — The Department of Energy has awarded nearly five million in research dollars to the Ohio State University for studies into next-generation vehicles.
The funds will be used to examine safety, connection, and automation in vehicles.
The full grant amount is $4,933,333 to OSU for its Fuel Economy Optimization and Automated Vehicle Project. The money comes from the DOE’s Advanced Research Project Agency.
