COLUMBUS (WCMH) — The owners of Westerville Heating and Cooling have been indicted after allegedly stealing more than $20,000 from customers.
Franklin County Prosecutor Ron O’Brien says Melissa “Missy” Martin and her husband Douglas Martin used credit card information from three customers “to make personal purchases for themselves and for their company in excess of $20,000.” O’Brien said they used one of the credit cards 63 times without permission.
The eight-count indictment included charges of theft, identity fraud, and misuse of credit cards.
The Martins are the owners and office managers of Westerville Heating and Cooling, which is located at 5596 E. Walnut St. in Westerville.
O’Brien encourages anyone who believes they have been victimized by the company to call the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office.
